The Right Reads

Our friend Kevin Holtsberry has launched a new website called The Right Reads I think everyone should make it a regular haunt and add it to their feed readers, we’ve added the site to our blogroll as well.

From the About page:

>The Right Reads is dedicated to covering books of interest to conservatives or those on the right side of the political spectrum.

>Through reviews and interviews it seeks to provoke debate, discussion, and education. The goal is to help you decide what books are worth reading but also to learn about the history and relevance of conservatism; and at the same time contemplate its future.

>We hope to balance our coverage between new and old; those with buzz and controversy as well as classics (or neglected gems). The goal is not just to create buzz and draw traffic, but to offer intelligent and useful commentary and discussion.

>Because we believe books and ideas still matter. This is not to say that activism and politics don’t matter as well. But books – words used to describe, flush out, and maybe even inspire new ways of thinking about the world or communicating foundational ideas in a new way – matter.

Also if you’re looking to do reviews and interviews of books and authors TRR is looking for contributors
