    I agree that nobody should be forced into the public healthcare option, but after reading pg. 92 of H.R. 3962 and specifically subsections 201 and 221, in which pg. 92 refers to for the reasoning of not allowing a person to choose private health care, from what I see the private option must be in accordance to standards that are at the same level of the public option. Basically this means that the private option must be better than the public option for someone to be able to choose the private option. What I don't understand, because I may be misunderstanding what I read, is the reasoning behind this. Why would being forced to choose a better option be bad? If private healthcare cannot meet the same standards as public healthcare.

    Is there a liberal bias in the standards, because private industry will not be able to meet them, and thus forcing all of us to become wards of the state? I mean this is not a very nice thing to do for all of us who support liberty and freedom.
