New Study on Hate Crimes against Muslims Contradicts Claims of Islamophobia in America

The claim of Islamophobia has bandied about for years by so-called moderate Muslim groups like CAIR and their newly found liberal friends (the enemy of my enemy is my friend). A claim, that has never been fully supported by fact but blindly accepted by many in the main stream media to the detriment of our citizens awareness and having an adverse affect on our policies toward policing our country, fighting terrorism, and securing our nation.
Today the Center for Security Policy released a study which contradicts this false Islamophobia claim and further sets the groundwork for Americans to start having real “adult” conversation about our national security without this propaganda getting in the way.

MRC President Brent Bozell To NPR Oversight Committees: Vivian Schiller Resignation “Doesn’t Change a Thing”

Letter To Chairman and Ranking Members Calls for De-funding of “Left-Wing Toy”
Alexandria, VA–The Media ResearchCenter’s President Brent Bozell sent a letter to the chairmen and ranking members of the House and Senate committees with oversight of NPR stating that the radio organization does not deserve a dime of taxpayer funding and that a government that is broke should not be in the business of funding a left-wing playground. This week NPR’s top fundraiser, Ron Schiller, unleashed a barrage of anti-conservative rhetoric in a hidden-camera expose at a business lunch in Washington.
Vivian Schiller, NPR President and CEO, resigned after news of Ron Schiller’s comments spread. Bozell says her resignation does nothing to affect the many reasons to stop funding tax dollars to NPR.
A portion of the letter sent by Brent Bozell to Congress reads:
“In today’s remarkably rich and varied communications environment – and today’s dire federal fiscal straits – there is simply no reason to continue government funding for a Corporation for Public Broadcasting, especially a CPB that defines its role as establishing a ‘firewall’ against taxpayer complaints about biased or inaccurate content.
It has been 44 years since Congress established the public broadcasting system, and the dramatic revolution in information technology makes the scarcity argument of the 1967 Act utterly obsolete. Congress’s requirement for fairness in public broadcasting has been disregarded since the system’s very first days.
The resignation of Vivian Schiller doesn’t change a thing about NPR. They are still a radical left-wing toy for the likes of George Soros and they still don’t deserve a dime of taxpayer funding. A government that is broke should not be in the business of funding a left-wing playground.”
Michele Bachmann Video & Petition: Shocking News about Obamacare

Dear Fellow Conservative,
Last week, my colleagues and I were shocked and appalled to find a provision in the Obamacare bill which appropriates $105 billion towards its funding- a complete and fraudulent circumvention of the legislative process.
In the bill, instead of following the rules and letting the next Congress go through the appropriations process, Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats appropriated billions of dollars in funding for Obamacare without holding a single hearing, or even allowing Members of Congress a chance to read the bill. I guess this is what Nancy Pelosi meant when she said “we have to pass the bill, so you can find out what is in it.” Even Democrats in Congress were surprised to hear this shocking news.
Without further action, the bill will be funded, and our efforts will have failed.
I’ve drafted a petition, and recorded a special video message, to ensure that ObamaCare is defunded. I urge you to immediately take a minute to sign this petition and watch the video by following this link. We must immediately send a message to every Member of Congress that even a single dollar more of federal spending is unacceptable until Obamacare is defunded.
In order to really put pressure on Congress to take immediate action, we need to collect hundreds of thousands of signatures from like-minded conservatives. So, after signing the petiton you will have the opportunity to make an emergency contribution to help us distribute this petition to millions of activists around the country. Any amount you can give today brings us one step closer to defunding Obamacare.
On Tuesday, I will meet with Members of Congress to discuss immediate plans to rescind this existing funding, and return Obamacare’s fate to the hands of the people, who overwhelming rejected it in November’s elections. At Tuesday’s meeting, I will challenge Members of Congress to stand against the undemocratic actions of the Reid-Pelosi-Obama apparatus, and vote against any additional government spending until Obamacare is completely defunded.
I need to know you are 100 percent behind my efforts to expose the back-room dealings and secretive tactics Pelosi and Obama have tried to use. I need to know you want Obamacare defunded once and for all. Follow this link right away to sign the petition to defund Obamacare!
In November, the American people clearly and emphatically cast their ballots against Obamacare and the big-government agenda advanced by Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. We must stand our ground to defund Obamacare, and we must move quickly to make sure that no taxpayer money is spent on our watch. By signing my petition, you will tell Congress where you stand: against the undemocratic and secretive actions of Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats, and for our shared Constitutional conservative values.
Please take action before it is too late!
Finally, I ask that you share this petition on Facebook, and forward this email to your friends and family to spread the word. It is our charge to stop this unconstitutional government take-over of our lives!
Sincerely,

Michele Bachmann
P.S. As a constitutional conservative, I am motivated now more than ever to repeal Obamacare and the first step towards this goal is making sure that it doesn’t receive a dime of your tax dollars. Although House Republicans voted overwhelmingly last month to defund the Obamacare law, our vote does not apply to the billions already secretly and fraudulently appropriated by the old Democratic Congress. I need your immediate help to send a message to every Member of Congress. We must immediately defund Obamacare! Please follow this link to sign this petition and pass this email along to your friends and family to spread the word. Thank you!
Obama’s Libya conference today ‘not a decision meeting’

Does Obama or his administration make any decisions beyond spending more money and increasing government regulation?
From USA Today:
President Obama discussed possible ways to respond to Libya with national security aides today, but spokesman Jay Carney cautioned that it was not “a decision meeting.”
These types of national security meetings “happen with some regularity,” Carney said.
“We are continuing to review options,” Carney said. “We are obviously aware of the suffering in Libya, and the violence there.”
Audio Interview with NPR’s Media Reporter David Folkenflik -Vivian Schiller Didn’t Quit She Was Fired

Not many people were surprised National Public Radio announced that President and CEO Vivian Schiller had resigned, the day after the release of an undercover video sting showing a former top NPR executive vilifying grass-roots conservatives and questioning the need for continued federal funding for the organization.
Ms Schiller has been in the press too much lately, not only firing Juan Williams, but the way she fired him and the follow up comments about seeing a psychiatrist and the James O’ Keefe sting video coming the day after her challenge to find incidents of bias was just the straw that broke the camel’s back.
When the news came out, no one really believed that she resigned, more that the CEO was forced out. What was surprising is the fact that NPR’s own Media Reporter, David Folkenflik out the board on twitter soon after the “resignation” was announced.
Soon after Folkenflik appeared on NPR to go deeper into the story (audio of the interview is embedded below)
Video: The System

Crossroads GPS is out with a new video showcasing “The System” that Union bosses and their in the pocket politicians are fighting so hard to defend right now.
Will 2 TN GOP House Members do a Number on 6,000,000 Tennesseans?

To listen to the folks that attended the “Tea for Two” rallies last weekend on the Capitol grounds in Tennessee, the numbers tell the story. There were far more TEA teachers and Union protestors present than there were Tea Partiers.
TEA supporters don’t want you to look at the fact that virtually all of their supporters were bused to the capitol as opposed to putting their own dollars into gasoline to go into their own cars which they themselves drove on their own time to the Capitol to let their voices be heard. They want it to be about the numbers.
And so it is. But what numbers? Here are a few other numbers for you. These ought to have particular attention paid to them by TN GOP House members on the Education Sub-Committee when they consider their vote on whether or not to allow HB 130 out of Committee.
Still Looking For General Omar Bradley In 2012 Presidential Contest

Known by his troops in World War II as “The Soldier’s General” because of his care of and compassion for those soldiers under his command. Bradley arrived in North Africa in the aftermath of the Kasserine Pass debacle. He found a much-chastened Eisenhower worrying about the failure of American units to perform well against their more experienced German opponents. The local British commander had been especially harsh in assessing the initial combat performance of the Americans. Bradley’s task throughout the remainder of the North African campaign was to convince both his men and the British that the American soldier was as good as any and that American leaders were as tactically adept as their Allied and Axis counterparts.
Swiss voters reject anti-gun initiative

Swiss voters rejected a proposed law that would have removed the ability to keep fully automatic military style weapons out of their homes. Switzerland, another example of how the presence of firearms (even fully automatic ones) is not the cause of violence.
From Swissinfo.ch
Final results showed just over 56 per cent of votes had been cast against the initiative which sought to ban army-issue guns from the home.
A majority of cantons voted against the initiative. Support came from several, mainly urban regions including Geneva, Basel and Zurich. Opposition was strongest in rural areas in eastern and central Switzerland as well as in the southern Italian-speaking canton of Ticino.
Our Chameleon-in-Chief

Depending on the situation, he’s morphed into Carter, Bush, Clinton, Nixon, Reagan, Lincoln, and even Washington. With the Mid-East in full meltdown, the Chameleon-in-Chief’s true colors are starting to show.
