Liberal Senator Jon Tester (MT): Proud he Supported Barack Obama’s Failed $825 Billion Stimulus and ObamaCare

In Montana, liberal U.S. Senator Jon Tester tells KULR-TV in Billings that he’s proud that he supported Barack Obama’s failed $825 billion stimulus and his job-killing healthcare bill.  There are two differing philosophies in Washington D.C. right now. One is that the government is the solution, Rehberg said. Or (there are) those of us that think that government is the problem, that we need a limited government. Government is not the solution, small business is.  Tester has voted for some of the biggest government spending bills in history; the stimulus package and the health care reform bill. It’s something Tester is proud of.

Meanwhile, Rehberg tells KBZK-TV in Bozeman that he’s fought hard for rural Montanans.  Rehberg says rural voters can look at his work in committee to see why he is the best candidate for less populated areas.  “I asked for agriculture committee, and then I asked for transportation because what is more important than moving our products in and out of our communities and our state,” he said.  He says he quickly realized that wasn’t enough and became the chairman of the House committee which sets the budget for Labor, Education and Health and Human Services. He says by controlling the purse strings he helps secure adequate funding for rural Montana projects.
