30 GOP Jobs Bills is NOT Inaction, Mr. President

“President Obama attacked Congress for not embracing his job creation proposals in his Saturday morning radio address.  The GOP, in return, criticized the president for seeking to impose a tax on the wealthy.

Text of the Speech

The president’s speech was delivered the day after the stock market had its worst day of the year, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average plummeting 275 points.  This plunge occurred following a weak hiring and employment report.  According to the Labor Department, only 69,000 jobs were produced in May–the fewest in a year.  In addition to that, the unemployment rate rose from 8.1% to 8.2%.”
