#NVSen: Lowbrow Shelley Berkley Campaign Manufactures Heller Anti-Woman Story

It just doesn’t get lower than this… sensing her impending doom, embattled congresswoman  Shelley Berkley’s campaign has lowered itself to manufacturing negative story’s about opponent Senator Dean Heller in a shameful attempt to pick up votes.

Apparently, over the 4th of July holiday, a Nevada reporter was spoon-fed a story about Heller campaign staffers wearing buttons that said; “A Woman’s Place Is In The House”

Unfortunately for the Berkeley camp, there’s no evidence that anyone in the Heller organization was wearing any such button, in fact, the Heller campaign has said that they have not purchased any campaign buttons to date!

“This is the first that we have heard of this. The Heller for Senate campaign has no such buttons and actually has not purchased any buttons at all. Absolutely no campaign staffer had such a silly button,” Chandler Smith, Heller campaign spokesman told TMR, “Dean Heller is a husband of almost 30 years with two daughters and a granddaughter, which just makes this even more absurd.”

The only buttons we could find that resembled the accusation come from Shelley Berkley’s own website:

NRSC spokesperson, Brian Walsh told TMR:

“Watching Berkley operatives pitch stories such as this, which they likely manufactured in the first place, is just another reminder of how low Shelley Berkley’s campaign and her allies will go over the next 124 days,”

These kind of lowbrow gutter tactics are par for the course when dealing with Harry Reid and his puppet Shelley Berkley.

I guess it’s just too much to ask for liberals to argue in the arena of ideas anymore? What a shame!
