New AFP Video: America Competes

Today, Americans for Prosperity Foundation released a new web ad using the Olympic Games as an analogy between Olympic athletes and the American economy. The video shows how American businesses must overcome obstacles that other countries don’t have.

During the 20th century, the American economy led the rest of the world. But now, America is beginning to stumble over hurdles other countries don’t have. America is falling behind, but this is far from over. Our best days are still ahead.

As in the Olympics, Americans compete in a dynamic, competitive global economy. The ad focuses on four unnecessary economic hurdles of the American economy; Big Government, Business Taxes, Red Tape and National Debt, and shows how these obstacles hobble American business and prevent them from competing at their full potential.  But, the video concludes, the race is far from over.
