15 months ago, the Bush administration put in its emergency spending request for the ongoing military occupation and rebuilding of Iraq, aka "the Iraq war". The Previous request had been used as a political football by congressional Democrats -- delayed, had funding approved but attached to demands to precipitiously abandon Iraq - guaranteed veto-getters -- before finally, grudgingly allowing the funding to be partially approved, and seemingly designed to be as unhelpful as possible.

I was given a press credential for the Colorado State Republican Convention tomorrow morning. The Convention begins at 9:30am. It appears that there will be separate events for each District. If that is the case, I will be at the 4th District event. This is the district represented by Congresswoman Marilyn Musgrave, which includes Fort Collins where I live.
