For all the Ted Stevens Haters: UPDATED

Tagged:

Looks like its over for Ted Stevens as Begich has widened his lead to over 2500 votes. There are still some to count and some military perhaps yet to come in, but a 2500 vote lead is probably insurmountable. So, one less thing for everyone to knock Alaska about and the first Democrat in a federal office since 1980. The Democrats should give the Public Integrity Section and the SAIC their "Person of the Century" award and one must wonder who George Bush thought was supposed to be running the USDOJ.

OK, I've written most of this stuff before in various posts but I'll sumarize since there'll be new interest today.

Many of you know me from RedState but some don't. I've been pretty much a regular there for about two and a half years. The site has become all but unusable, so I need a place to hang. Thank you for having me.
