With the advent of RS 3.0, and the inability to put images in our signatures, It appears the Republican distress banner has flown it's last on the pages of Red State. Let us pause and gaze upon her image here at TMR and reflect upon her short and storied life...flying proudly on my each and every post. Alas, she will fly no more except in our memories as the sun sets upon her glorious visage.
May we observe a moment of silence and reflection?
OK...now that that's done...I may or may not pull her down at TMR...I've grown pretty bored with the whole thing and would have pulled it down weeks ago had Gator not gotten my back up and made it impossible to pull it down without allowing him to believe he was the reason it was gone and encouraging him to act like an ass into perpetuity.
What's that?...He'll be an ass anyway? Well, yeah...but he won't be my ass any more...I'll give him back to all of you with pleasure!
Now, In honor of the afore mentioned symbol of GOP distress and partly to honor the "Pisswilly, (I think that's what Jaded called him) who gave me so much grief and attached the ilk moniker to me, I proudly present our new organization,"We and Our ILK" community of ILKs.
As co chairman and CEO, it is my pleasure to present the mother organization for a series of groups which my girl Jaded, (who is Co Chair and CFO of our organization) and I began in my most recent brawl with Lil' Crock (which someone at TMR calls him).
Under the over all umbrella of "We and Our ILK community of ILKS" we have birthed a series of organizations which we hope will cover every interest group and ideology to be found within Republican and Conservative circles.
We have set up ILK PAC which will fund our operations and other activities that My CFO and fellow ilk feel like funding...like all expense paid trips to Hawaii, Paris, Venice, or anywhere we darn well please to go. We haven't set up our offices yet and currently have no way to account for the money but you can trust us...honest...Just send your money to us in denominations no more than $20 in non sequential bills inside a brown paper bag and we'll take care of the rest!

Proud to be a member in good standing with aceintx and David Hinz's ILK.....I would be a part of that ILK.....perhaps we can start having ILK parties....I will bring drinks and aceintx can bring BANNERS ;-)

We've conceptualized several junior organizations and are seeking suggestions for other organizations that we can bring to the ILk Community in order to forward the agenda of we and our ilk.
What flows is a short list of organizations Jaded and I have worked on and we would like more ideas from all of you at TMR:
The International Brotherhood of ILKs
Fraternal Order of ILKs
Young ILKs
ILKs against drunk driving
ILKs America foundation
Well, you get the idea.

there could be Mothers for ILK, which gives the flexibility of being either M-ILK or MF-ILK depending on the mood of the day. And again, this group can breed subsets.
For the Presidential campaign there can be ILK Mothers for McCain, which can easily be shorted to ILK-MF-McCain for campaign literature purposes.
Individual state ILK branches can be set up -- as long as they pay their dues back to the National ILK Committee. Here in Michigan it would be MI-ILK, while in New York, it would be Yor-ILK. Massachussetts would be Mass-ILK, while Wyoming would obviously be Wy-ILK.
