I’ve been remiss in putting up my thoughts/report from the McCain campaign VP debate watch party/Palin post-debate rally here in St. Louis. It was a really good time. I met some cool people. Tried to take a bunch of pictures (Couldn’t keep the camera steady this time…place was rocking).
If I had to do it all again though, I wouldn’t go to another one of these rallies without going in a large group (I went by myself). Not having a group like you guys to make comments with put a damper on things. It was also damn hard to hear half the answers with 10,000+ people cheering/booing. I still haven’t seen the whole debate.
There is one moment (and it was similar to the campaign rally the day before the convention here in St. Louis) that really stands out above all the rest:
h/t Gateway Pundit
If you squint your eyes extra hard you can see me just to the right of the bus before the fog gets too thick. I’m just above the people in yellow shirts. What an entrance.
Just like the last event, I was mere feet away from shaking hands with Palin (I had something for her to sign this time). Alas, just like last time, she changed direction feet from where I was and headed out of the arena. :(
