Former DNC Chief Fowler Laughs About Hurricane Hitting New Orleans

Tagged:
Caleb Howe covered the Democratic National Convention for AOL and found himself sitting on an airplane in the seat behind former DNC Chief Dan Fowler laughing at the fact that Hurricane Gustav might hit New Orleans at the same time as the Republican National Convention.

Like Michael Moore, Fowler laughs that "GOD MUST BE ON OUR SIDE."

Trolls can watch -- it is the reading and writing that gives them trouble...

I think it's fascinating that McCain is requesting that the RNC dial it down during the hurricane. It shows the humility of the GOP during a time of catastrophe, and it exposes the Dems convention as flashy and nothing but a huge spectacle. I think many people will see the honest concern by the GOP about those caught in the hurricane. Meanwhile, the dems only thought is that the GOP won't be able to pull off the same spectacle as the Dems. Which is fine by me. I wasn't awed by the American Idol-like stage and empty speech promises. Sure, it was great for toastmasters, but let's see if he can really deliever. Obama brings words and promises, McCain brings humity, action, and change.
