I am going to DROP KICK RS 3.0 in a blog....Somebody talk me out of it...[Closed]

I’m closing down the comments on this one. We have been fortunate to pick up new memebers recently because of RedState. It would be very unseemly to ungraciously host a complaint fest against them. It also serves to show us as the place that people go when they don’t like RedState. I’m sure Steve would agree that he did not set up this site for that purpose. - Brian

Hurry up…..I’m trying to log on right now….again……wait it will work this time……hold on……..logging on…..doh

been a disaster.
And for the love of me, I still can not figure out why they didn't make people wait to post. Huge week for the GOP, huge week for Redstate. To me, it was an Epic.Fail.
They need to be better prepared if they want to be taken seriously.

logging in to TMR -- apparently you managed to get around the block I put on your account.

RS 3.0 has been a massive disaster IMHO. I think everyone began to panic when it was taking so long to roll out. And so.... they rolled it out before it was ready.

Although, given the time that it has been in place, and the problems still unresolved, I am beginning to think that the platform is fatally flawed and needs to be scrapped.

whenever I feel like waiting for 10 minutes of my life....I loved that Neil said they didn't lose any of the Drudge report hits it was just US who are the core of the site that are paying a price.....yeah that engenders good will.

I am so sick of 500 errors and slow loading that it literally takes me 5 to 10 minutes just to recommend a diary.

having to do with their site they are basically telling long time users to JUST WAIT and it will get better.....unfortunately they will end up with all the deadenders and none of the people who make the site worth visiting.

When they're stuck on the ground in a plane just waiting and waiting and no one tells them anything!

no uploading for pictures because the Drudge lookers are taking up the bandwidth.

comment that "...if the server is curled up in a fetal position right now, well, it's earned the right." What good does that do RedState if they are wanting to be taken seriously? When Kos and DU and the other nutjob blogs can handle the heat, how does it make RedState look when it can't?

And as to the suggestion that newbies with an axe to grind can come in and leave trash all over the place while the long-term posters can't--well, I'm fairly speechless at that one. As mad as I have gotten more than once, RS is still the place I spend most of my online time. Lately, I have spent more time there just waiting than I have reading or posting and I am now spending less and less time trying to read. I miss RS 2.0 !!!!!
