Campaign Carl Cameron just reported that McCain’s campaign manager Rick Davis has confirmed for FOXNews that McCain has made his choice and will announce and appear with his choice tomorrow at 12:00pm rally in Ohio.

I think with Gov.Pawlenty as the VP choice you run the risk of having a very lackluster and uninspiring nominee (at least to conservatives) with a very safe, unknown, and frankly very blah VP pick.

... seeing to it that the choice "leaks" out (say, by, sending the Secret Service to the pick's house or something) is probably not a horrible idea.
Then again, if Maverick is planning on going with this strategy (scroll down to the first update) then it really won't matter in any case.
