In addition, Kilpatrick agreed to repay the city of Detroit $1 million, in part to come from his forfeiture of his state pension.

Kilpatrick also plead no-contest to two additional felony charges brought by State Attorney General Mike Cox stemming from an assault against two police officers who were attempting to serve a sopoena on a witness. According to the plea agreement, Kilpatrick will receive 120 day jail sentence for those two counts, to be served concurrently with his other jail time.
Even as the judge read the plea agreement, Kilpatrick was unable to contain the arrogance that many people believe is at the root of his troubles. As Judge Groner read each count, he pointed out to defendant Kilpatrick the consequences of each point. When asked if he understood that by this agreement would give up his right to the presumption of innocence until found guilty by a court of law, he responded, "I gave up that right a long time ago."
