"God O Thunder" Ohio Gov Strickland Appointee Arrested

Using the internet screen name "God O Thunder," former Faith-Based and Community Initiatives director Robert E McFadden was arrested yesterday for offering a 17-year-old girl as a prostitute on the internet.

The appointee of Gov Ted Strickland, D-OH, was charged with two felony counts of compelling prostitution after he placed nude photos of the girl on craigslist and offered her as a "recommended" prostitute. Five other counts of pandering obscenity and promoting prostitution were dismissed. McFadden faces up to 10 years in prison.

McFadden was caught as a result of a police internet sting. He was never charged with having sex with the girl, but only with offering her services to other men.

Quote:

McFadden, a former field director in a Catholic organization, was hired by Strickland in 2007 to lead the Faith-Based office, which was created to make it easier for religious organizations to compete for public funding.

He was paid $36 an hour.

He later was transferred to the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction but was laid off because of budget cuts.

It is fortunate for McFadden that he is familiar with the Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections, as he will soon be in need of their services.

Surely this can only enhance his image in today's Democrat Party.
