Two days from now we have the Superbowl, a typically big event in America. I’m not a football fan so don’t expect team assessments here. Two days from now we’ll also get to see a commercial that is at the heart of a political storm; such a storm that it’s being condemned sight unseen. Why? I’ll let Jehmue Greene tell you in her own words.
Wow! She hasn’t even seen the ad but she’s claiming there’s an agenda! Not to mention that she has an assumption that she should be allowed to approve of it beforehand with her comment that she hasn’t been allowed to see it. That doesn’t seem to stop her demonizing it.
$14,294,000,000,000 Is the Magic Number!
Democrats in the House just voted to raise the nation’s debt limit in a partisan vote of 233 to 187
The U.S. House of Representatives on Thursday voted to increase the government’s borrowing authority to $14.3 trillion, sending the measure to President Barack Obama to sign into law.
By a vote of 233 to 187, the House voted to raise the nation’s debt limit by $1.9 trillion, which would probably allow lawmakers to avoid revisiting the politically toxic issue before November congressional elections.
The Senate passed the bill last week.
Conservatives will do well to hammer this number home over this election cycle. Here’s Mike Pences’ statement on increasing the national debt limit and PAYGO
“The truth is, PAYGO really means here in Washington: you pay and they go on spending”
Announcing TMRTV's New Site: Upload Liberty & Site Update
We have some great news about TMRTV and some not so great news about TMR’s move to WordPress… First the bad news.
We had a set back yesterday with the new theme I purchased (thanks Nessa for the generous donation!) turned out to have a bug the theme designer blamed on the current version of WP instead of his design, lame excuse whether he’s right or not, anyway moving this site is turning out to be a lot trickier than expected. We’re now going to have to find another theme and hire someone to move the data base and all that good stuff. long story short… It’s going to be awhile before we have the money and resources to do exactly what we want to do.
The plan is to do the move in two pieces, Doug (Stix) and I are going to get a more basic theme up and running in WPMU on our servers for the interim then , when we have the money and resources, we’ll update the theme and migrate to cloud servers and be done with it. ETA on the completed project is the end of March.
Now to the Good News, in fact let’s call it great news…
TMRTV is now it’s own site called Upload Liberty. This has been my plan for TMRTV from our inception but it just never seemed to materialize until now.
Upload Liberty will function much like the TMRTV category here. It will remain to be a repository for center-right political videos – created, captured, or found on the web.
Every uploaded video contains the URL and Embed Code, much like YouTube, so our hope is to get center-right contributors to post their original or captured video content and upload it here on a friendly site dedicated to center-right politics and defeating liberals. We also hope to feature campaign videos throughout this election cycle.
At Upload Liberty we hope to provide a home for those making great video’s like Victorious
We’re still putting the finishing touched on the site but I hope you’ll head on over, check it out, register for an account, and let us know what you think!
I want to personally thank all of our contributors and give a “HUGE Thank You” to our readers… without you none of this would be possible! We’re working hard to make this site more user friendly so please stick with us through this next couple of weeks, I promise it will be worth it.

Axelrod "Hopes" Health Reform Isn’t on Life Support; Who’s In Charge?
David Axelrod’s appearance on Meet the Press, this past Sunday, where he said that he hopes health care reform isn’t dying in Congress is prompting Eric Cantor’s office and many of us on the right to ask - Who’s In Charge? Who’s steering the ship?
DAVID GREGORY: Mary Landrieu, conservative Democrat from Louisiana, said it’s on life support — health care. Is it on life support?
DAVID AXELROD: Well — I hope for the — for the sake of the American People and the tens of millions of people out there who — who are disadvantaged in their relationship with their insurance companies today, or who have no insurance, I hope that’s not the case.
Again — this is a situation where we ought to put — the economic interests of everyday Americans ahead of the politics of the moment. And that’s what the President’s saying. These are extraordinary times. Middle class families and people who want to be middle class are struggling all over this country. Let’s — let’s — let’s provide some help.
DAVID GREGORY: Is the President clear-eyed, though, that there’s still a chance this is not gonna happen?
DAVID AXELROD: The President is determined that we deal with the problems in front of us. And health care is one of those problems.
Cantors office emailed this question:
It seems that the White House and Speaker Pelosi are on different pages when it comes to health care. On the one hand, Speaker Pelosi is willing to “climb fences,” “pole vault,” and “parachute in” to force health care. On the other, the White House simply “hopes” that its own top priority survives. Is the White House outsourcing health care yet again?
Contradicting the assertion be Nancy Pelosi that the Dems would ““You go through the gate. If the gate’s closed, you go over the fence. If the fence is too high, we’ll pole-vault in. If that doesn’t work, we’ll parachute in. But we’re going to get health care reform passed for the American people.”
So Who’s Really In Charge? Who’s Really Steering the Ship?
