This is a web ad only for now. It’s certainly a step in the right direction.
New McCain Ad: Ayers
how dare you mention that Sen Obamessiah had a long and persistent relationship over many years with former terrorist - turned radical educator Ayers.
The next think you will be doing is bringing up the fact that Sen Obamessiah parked his derriere in a pew and listened to Rev Wright spout anti-American, anti-whitey rhetoric for 20 years, before he disowned him (along with his dear grandmother).
Then I suppose you will start in on Sen Obamessiah's relationship to Tony Rezko, a saint of a man dedicated to bringing affordable housing to the poor of Chicago (along with a damn fine pizza), and the man who helped Sen Obamessiah buy his home. I suppose YOU will want to bring up the hundreds of millions of dollars that Sen Obamessiah helped funnel to Rezko in building that affordable housing, which, unfortunately, today is no longer affordable or housing because it is uninhabitable.
Then, it would be just like you racists to bring up Khalid Abdullah Tariq al-Mansour, who once said that the white man was engaged in genocide to wipe out the black man, and who sponsored Sen Obamessiah into Harvard Law School.
Or, it would be just like you to bring up Rashid Khalidi the man with ties to the terrorists in Hamas, and the money that Sen Obamessiah funneled to his questionable charities through his actions with the Woods Foundation.
Nobody seems to care about Ayers.
It's the ECONOMY!!!
It is time for McCain to prove what a tax and spend liberal Obama is and how devastating his policies would be.
NOBAMA-NO WAY!

Problem is this is about a month too late.
It's hard to imagine, given where the electorate seems to be at this late stage of this seemingly never-ending campaign, what they could learn about Barack Obama that would move them off their default position of "GEORGE BUSH SUX - I'M VOTING FOR HOPEANDCHANGE!!!"
Maybe it's Ayers. After all, the Democrats and their water-carriers in the MSM are sure acting like this story has the potential to, ahem, blow-up in Barry's face.
But I somehow doubt it. Unfortunately in 2008 America, it's apparent that a long, close personal and professional relationship with an unrepentent, cop-killing domestic terrorist is not a disqualifying feature for a candidate for high public office.
