The Constitution: Whatever Judges Appointed by The One Think It Should Be.

Tagged:

How does the typical Democrat Primary Voter Talking Point go again - oh yeah, it's that George Bush has shredded the Constitution, or somesuch. Well, why should they care? After all, they don't particularly seem to think the Constitution should, you know, mean anything - evidently...

Quote:
While 82% of voters who support McCain believe the justices should rule on what is in the Constitution, just 29% of Barack Obama’s supporters agree. Just 11% of McCain supporters say judges should rule based on the judge’s sense of fairness, while nearly half (49%) of Obama supporters agree.

Got that, folks? Less than 1/3 of The One's followerssupporters think that The Constitution of the United States - you know, that very document the alleged "trashing" of which caused self-same people to throw year-plus long hissy-fits and wad their frilly pink panties into a bunch - should actually not be the basis for much of anything that happens in our nation.

Yep - there it is - nearly half of The One's supporters think judges should make it up as they go based on what they think is fair.

Remember that the next time some LefTard brings-up their Talking Points on the matter - or as Allahpundit put it...

Quote:
A friendly reminder from the Enlightened of how much more profound their respect for the rule of law is than yours, to be filed away for the next time one of them deigns to lecture you about Bush’s constitutional apostasy.

Further, from the HA comments...

Quote:
But remember, it is the Republicans and Conservatives that are uneducated backwood morons…

The only thing surprising about this revelation is, frankly, that nearly 30% of these trogs actually think The Constitution means something - not that it likely actually means what they think it means, but a little trip to the Sarah Palin Memorial Eskimo-Themed Re-Education Camp can fix that.

As an aside, can we find that 11% of mush-for-brains McMaverick supporters of the "living document" nonsense and educate them off the "Another Child Left Behind" ranks?

I had been of the impression that a large percentage of Democrats (say, 50%), if they REALLY gave some thought to what they expected from the judiciary, would actually want them NOT to invent laws and thwart the Constitution.

Now I am coming to the conclusion that there is no appreciable difference between Democrat and Communist, even among the rank and file.

Do you do your blogs in HTML?

Bring your blog over here....TMR dudes will make it easy for you

Do we know you by a previous name? Just curious, as your initials are 'RS' I thought you might be Erick or Moe moonlighting over here - then I observe the Rambo eyes...... oh got it! I know who you are (I'm a little slow). Similar enough name too.

Yeah, to answer, I use HTML fairly extensively - which makes bringing it over here a little bit of chore (unless there is a mode that takes straight HTML - somehow I usually end up using BBCode).

When you're posting a blog look down the bottom of the window (under the input block for the story) and you should see something that says (I think) "Input format". If you click on that you can select from BBCode (what I use), FULL HTML (which is what it sounds like you want) and (I think) one or two other formats.

I think that in your profile you might be able to select your default input format as well - but don't quote me on that. After all, I'm just a Hall Monitor - not the tech guru.

Hope that helps.

for blog input. So if you used HTML last time, it will be set for HTML from now on.

Of course, this means for those of us with mod privileges, if we edit some trolls comments we run the risk of upsetting our balance and having to edit our own post to return it to the right format.

I'm feeling the love.... historically I have just gone through and replaced all the GT/LT things with brackets (and I think links and images are way different). I'll see if I can get full html to do a straight import...

full html is different than what RS used to be (and still is) Don't forget the <p><p> between paragraphs or it will all run together as one long paragraph

I won't name any names but GC always screws that part up and one of us has to fix it for him... :-)
