Today I read this piece by Chris Stirewalt @ the DC Examiner entitled Has the Right surrendered in the culture war? right on the heels of the President’s visit to Turkey where he said that one of the great strengths of the United States is that “we do not consider ourselves a Christian nation, or a Jewish nation or a Muslim nation.” highlighting a misunderstanding that the United States is a secular country. Problem is, as newt explains in the video below, we are not a secular country and we never have been!

There seems to be a concerted effort here by some on the left and wouldn’t you know it right during the most holy week in the Christan Traditions…. Hmmmm
