Rest In Peace David Hinz

Tagged:

It’s with the heaviest of hearts that I inform you that my friend and online partner David Hinz was killed this morning in a auto accident. I don’t have all the details right now but the weather was bad and black ice was most likely what caused the accident.

Dave was on his way to work, at Fed Ex, when it happened.

A consummate warrior for freedom and liberty Dave was not only a brilliant writer and seeker of truth… he was someone I was proud to call my friend.

I’m obviously devastated by this news today… so I promise to give you more details and properly eulogize my friend in the coming days.

Please keep his family in your prayers!

Another sobering reminder of life's brevity and unpredicatability. He will be missed.

And Rightly So!

I only knew him for a short time, and he had such a fighting spirit. It is a great loss for the conservative community. Please convey my thoughts and prayers to his family and to you as well Steve.

A true patriot who will be missed. This was a shock and a sad moment reading of the loss of Dave Hinz. God bless him and his family.

My heart goes out to his family. May God bless them and keep them, even in this.

he did not wait around for others to do what needed to be done. A good friend and a better man, my condolences to the family. __________________________________________

I just talked to David last weekend and we laughed and made some reference about "Next time we get together". Hard to believe that won't be happening on this side of eternity.

Rest in Peace, David. We miss you terribly. Thanks for making our lives richer and fuller. We are better because we knew you ...

Tears, idle tears, I know not what they mean,
Tears from the depth of some divine despair
Rise in the heart, and gather to the eyes,
In looking on the happy Autumn-fields,
And thinking of the days that are no more.

Fresh as the first beam glittering on a sail,
That brings our friends up from the underworld,
Sad as the last which reddens over one
That sinks with all we love below the verge;
So sad, so fresh, the days that are no more.

Ah, sad and strange as in dark summer dawns
The earliest pipe of half-awakened birds
To dying ears, when unto dying eyes
The casement slowly grows a glimmering square;
So sad, so strange, the days that are no more.

Dear as remembered kisses after death,
And sweet as those by hopeless fancy feigned
On lips that are for others; deep as love,
Deep as first love, and wild with all regret;
O Death in Life, the days that are no more!

"Both of our political parties, at least the honest portion of them, agree conscientiously in the same object—the public good; but they differ essentially in what they deem the means of promoting that good."
-Thomas Jefferson

Oh my God, I am saying a prayer as soon as I post this.

I was talking today to one of my cousins, we know that everything is in God's Hands. We do not know what will happen tomorrow, we must treat each day as a present.

One man in a thousand, Solomon says,
Will stick more close than a brother.
And it's worth while seeking him half your days
If you find him before the other.
Nine nundred and ninety-nine depend
On what the world sees in you,
But the Thousandth man will stand your friend
With the whole round world agin you.

'Tis neither promise nor prayer nor show
Will settle the finding for 'ee.
Nine hundred and ninety-nine of 'em go
By your looks, or your acts, or your glory.
But if he finds you and you find him.
The rest of the world don't matter;
For the Thousandth Man will sink or swim
With you in any water.

You can use his purse with no more talk
Than he uses yours for his spendings,
And laugh and meet in your daily walk
As though there had been no lendings.
Nine hundred and ninety-nine of 'em call
For silver and gold in their dealings;
But the Thousandth Man h's worth 'em all,
Because you can show him your feelings.

His wrong's your wrong, and his right's your right,
In season or out of season.
Stand up and back it in all men's sight --
With that for your only reason!
Nine hundred and ninety-nine can't bide
The shame or mocking or laughter,
But the Thousandth Man will stand by your side
To the gallows-foot -- and after! --Kipling

I can only hope an angel was on his shoulder and that he ascended without too great a burden of suffering. I remember Dave as a warrior. He believed in the cause of what America once was and can once more become again. His memory lives on. Requiescat in pace.
