Watch Sissy Jack Cafferty have a hissy fit over Sarah Palin

So everyday I receive, by email, the headlines from most of the major papers as seen though eyes and filter of the Slate online.

Today's papers, as you could no doubt guess, are rife with the ridiculous notion that Sarah Palin is inexperienced and that picking her somehow nullifies Obama's inexperience!?!

Quote:
All the papers lead with John McCain's surprise selection of Alaska governor Sarah Palin for his running mate. He shocked election-watchers and scrambled the presidential race with a "Hail Mary pass"--eschewing more conventional choices for the inexperienced, socially conservative, corruption-fighting "hockey mom." Appearing together in Ohio, McCain lauded her reform credentials, while Palin framed her candidacy as an extension of Hillary Clinton's quest to "shatter [the] glass ceiling."

The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Washington Post, and Wall Street Journal call it a risky play to revitalize John McCain's "maverick" image. Choosing Palin undercuts the argument that Barack Obama is too inexperienced, raising questions about John McCain's age and judgment. But it could pay off: Palin--an NRA member and staunch pro-lifer--is energizing evangelicals and tempting Hillary Clinton voters to defect. An LAT analysis piece worries it's a sign that McCain relies on short-sighted "gut-checks," while an early version of the WSJ lead called it a "calculated bet." It's likely a bit of both--McCain's a high-stakes gambler who knows the odds.

Now I could give two shakes what anyone at Slate thinks save for Mickey Kaus and selected others but I find it hilarious how Slate and all the other MSM papers (who by the way are all hemorrhaging readers) are leading with spin taken right from the DNC initial reaction lab!

To somehow assume that McCain can no longer question Obama's experience because of a VP pick is complete lunacy and wishful thinking on their part. The two simple are not analogous! Beside that fact that the charge is false, but when have the facts ever stopped liberals from lying or trying to destroy someone, Palin has about 12 years more public service than the top of their ticket does -- so that's a strawman!

with my thoughts on CNNs pitiable attempts to portray Obama and Biden as anything other than business-as-usual Democratic Party hacks.

Now I will hold my breath to see if he ever reads my post on-air.

Jack Cafferty must have gotten his story straight with Joe Conason, except that Palin isn't an "inexperienced token" (as Obama is) and she also isn't a Washington insider (as Joe Biden is).

And of course, Palin is also not running for President, so Cafferty is fuming about an apples-oranges comparison.

Now we can all talk about apples-apples comparisons and bring Joe Biden into the mix, and even then the Obama/Biden ticket looks terrible. It must be sad to be Jack Cafferty these days. He looks horrible, so many bags under his eyes.

Watching Cafferty melt down so spectacularly. And Blitzer is the kind of guy who enjoys making people melt down!

I know...this is CNN...but come on...why bother even reading the one that was positive?

loved it? She woke up this morning and heard the news while sipping Latte with her friends?

First off...What self respecting Republican could hear Obama's speech and love it? I suppose she could be an RMSP type...in which case she's not really a Republican anyway? and who says they were sipping Latte?...I drink Latte quite frequently but I describe it while talking about it "drinking my coffee. That came across as sarcastic to me...something a Democrat would say to describe rich Republicans...

Finally...you guys are going to laugh at me...because I don't know who the hell Jack Lafferty is! I don't watch CNN...EVER! So I have no clue who he is. Is he supposed to be objective...or is he a columnist? If I had to guess I'd say the latter...but it's real hard to tell now a days!

I'd NEVER heard of the guy until I started watching the coverage yesterday. The more I saw of that clown, the madder I became!

I'm sure that commentators like him have nothing to do with the fact that Fox News is KICKING THEIR A$$E$ in every single time slot all day long. Of course, their pitiful viewer numbers dwarf the numbers of MSNBC... so I guess this guy has bragging rights over Keith Ubberwoman.

Jack Cafferty is like really sad worn out pair of shoes. Useless and not even recyclable. I guess his mother never told him - pointing a finger at people is IGNORANT.

He's dying and all the other DEMOCRAT newsreaders are as well. They can't handle the fact that Sarah Palin could "clean their clocks" in a one on one interview.

Those 6000 emails were probably sent by another staffer at Cafferty's program.

one-on-one, but she fires a mean M-16 as well. The MSM had better stay out of this woman's sights, or they could be in deep trouble.

So, I spent the weekend camping with the family - of course we ended up eating out for dinner on Friday (couldn't get a fire started - too much wet wood). My wife and I were watching the In-the-tank-News-Network but couldn't hear the dialog - only the video.

My wife remarked how it was obvious - even without the sound and even in her solidly apolitical mind - that Cafferty was having a total on-air meltdown over the Palin selection. My only comment - well, that's how you know McCain made a masterful choice.

Cafferty == useless tool.

BTW, did you notice how nobody seemed fit to talk about Obama's inexperience prior to Palin hitting the scene. Funny, that.

This woman has five kids at home, including one with Down's Syndrome. Five.

I can see that a woman with a good job can afford help, so that she can work at a regular job, even a governor's job, and still keep tabs on the kids. That said, and even with help, can she campaign effectively (that's nonstop travel), run a VP office effectively, and still raise children? And no, I don't think a phone call from wherever, when it's every single day for months or years, counts for much.

No matter who you are, you have to live with a 24-hour day.

Whether the candidate is male or female, I just don't know how they could take good care of five children and do a job like this, too. Two kids can travel with you, but five???

aceintx's picture

kids right?

Who would you suggest would have enough time for a job like this? Oh yeah...Biden...Right?

in the race who has effectively run an office. Obama, Biden, and McCain are all legislators. Palin has effectively run the office of Governor in Alaska, five kids or not, and has more experience holding an office than Obama has. She's a perfect candidate for the job. And unless I missed something, has a husband who also shares the duties of 5 kids. So that argument is null and void.

because you were at least civil -- quite unusual from the typical liberal troll that stops by to spout Democratic Party Talking-Point-O-Matic rhetoric.

But that is exactly what you are: A Talking-Point-O-Matic

We realize that this pick scares the beejeebies out of you liberals because you realize that you have been prwned

We love to engage in productive debate, but "what about the children" from a lib is NOT constructive debate. Please try a little harder.

Maybe it's my lack of sleep from camping this weekend but I find I have no patience - zero - for "WHAT ABOUT THE CHILDREN???????" libtard trolls.

Funny, I didn't see that fact that Obambi - the guy at the top of the ticket, you may recall - has young kids being much of an issue among the "WHAT ABOUT THE CHILDREN???????" crowd. Funny, that.

Farepoorly.
