I enlisted in the Marine Corps as a senior in high school. Serving during Desert Shield/Desert Storm as a microwave communications operator for the Marine Wing Communications Squadron 48 detachment “B”

My passion for politics started early with the influence of my grandmother, an avid Reagan and Rush fan, but without a Poli-Sci degree I mostly had to settle for yelling at the radio or TV set, until my work as a supervisor and subsequent free time in the Mortgage Banking industry, gave way to political blogging.

I started a personal site that I used to blog at called Madhouse Thought @ madhousethought.blogspot.com, but mainly posted at RedState @ www.redstate.com and Swords Crossed @ www.swordscrossed.org until I was offered a chance to write for the HinzSight Report as senior writer found @ www.hinzsightreport.com.

When I'm not blogging about Politics, The War, The Middle East, or The State of Conservatism in general, chances are I'm catching up on the latest Sci Fi series, movie or book.
