Hey, if it's in the HuffPo, you know it's going to be Pro-GOP, right?
Right?
Quote:
David Brooks spoke frankly about the presidential and vice presidential candidates Monday afternoon, calling Sarah Palin a "fatal cancer to the Republican party" but describing John McCain and Barack Obama as "the two best candidates we've had in a long time."
Gosh, thanks for that Mr. House "Republican" at Pravda on the Hudson.
BTW, you have that about precisely backward (look, you can love Maverick - but the notion that he's one of the "best candidates we've had in a long time" is simply, utterly, and completely laughable). And hey, there's nothing quite like making yourself a pariah with the only people who are likely not sending you hate mail after one of your columns appears in Pinch's broadsheets.
But what the heck, now you'll get invited back to NewsHour, I suppose. After all, everyone loved the GOP once - when we were consistent electoral losers, that is.
